    Not taxing a church is giving special dispensation which is prohibited by the constitution.

      Why do churches of ANY kind get a pass on taxes? THEY collect taxes (tithes, etc.) and keep everything. How about some of us start a religion and worship the Great Kaliem Kinzo?! ALL HAIL THE GREAT KALIEM!!

        It's weird you say "collect revenue like a business", because churches are non-profit. They aren't businesses at all.

          Churches are tax exempt. That is not fair!

          Everyone should be tax exempt.

            Churches are nonprofit, so as a result they are required by the government to follow a stricter set of guidelines than a private business has. Any overhead has to be put back into the cause that the nonprofit is accepting donations for. So no they aren't able to spend and make money like private businesses, thus your point is invalid.

              It charity. That would be stealing
