    JESUS LIVES!

Resuscitation and impersonation were not compelling arguments against the resurrection so I would say Angelos did well, although I know the debate has not ended.

I wasn't arguing against the resurrection, I was arguing that the reasons presented for believing it are not compelling.

I know that is what you say, but an unbelief in it is actually arguing against it. And you did bring up those two points for not believing it and those reasons you gave were not compelling.

There is a difference between unbelief and disbelief. I do not disbelieve that the resurrection occurred. In fact, I explicitly acknowledge that it might have. This distinction is hard to make — and some do not believe that it exists, perhaps including yourself — so maybe I failed to make this point clear.

If you told me that you had a rhinoceros in your back garden, I wouldn't accuse you of lying – I wouldn't disbelieve you. But I wouldn't believe you, either. I would suspend judgement until evidence had been presented sufficient to constitute proof (of either your truthfulness or your falsehood).
