    To be honest I don't know too much about the guy other than the foundations of classic Liberalism. My question to you would be, if he holds such high esteem for you, why do you think he is overshadowed by other economic geniuses?

      @aidennn_tv Well Friedrich Hayek won a Nobel prize by expanding on Mises' monetary theory.
      He is responsible for some of the most important strides in economic theory, however, he is generally given little credit for this.
      This is partly due to his uncompromising character. He moved to the US while fleeing the Nazis, and despite speaking several languages from a young age, English was not one of them. He did learn quick but was an outcast within the academic circles. Once in a fit of anger he slammed his fist on a table and accused Milton Friedman and Hayek of being socialist.
      However, he had an incredible knowledge of history, philosophy, economics.

      @bubba thanks for expanding, I didn't know any of that! Then I would have to agree with you, I just did a bit of reading and the guy was truly a genius
