So I really don't agree with the ban itself but I think people are overreacting about the Uber thing. They didn't mean to undermine the protests, they wanted to be nice and not surge price near JFK, no biggie.
@stella um but they DID undermine the protests. Uber does anything to make money and that's their top priority. They should've taken notes when Lyft gave their response... #DeleteUber
@stella it doesn't really matter what they "mean" to do, it's what they actually did that's the problem, no matter the intention. I'm glad they've apologized though
I mean they definitely could have handled it better but being politically active shouldn't really be a consideration when you're choosing your ride. That being said, Uber is notorious for only caring about aggressive expansion instead of their drivers and customers
