Well she certainly came prepared @agent00mama , source of your numbers please?

@arkle I think I enjoy watching your video debates more than I enjoy reading your arguments in the comments sections. I think you did a great job today, very interesting.

        @meta_self what do u think?

@drsteve Thank you. I could've done better, but I had most of my comments in other tabs, which in hindsight I shouldn't have done. I should've printed them out. Switching tabs ended up being distracting and I think probably hurt my case in the long run.

@yaz I think it's as easy as looking at places like Seattle which have codified the $15 min.

Wages should be based on market value (i.e. supply and demand).

@meta_self The problem with setting wages by supply and demand is basic economics, when the available supply of labor exceeds demand wages go down.Which would effect primarily people in the services sector economy and no the average fast food worker is not a teenager the average age is mid to late 20s it would end up creating for the most part a permanent underclass. The only way everyone gets a decent wages is if the minimum wage is raised to keep up with inflation or organizing and reducing the bargaining power of capital.

@jackson23 You're ignoring entrepreneurs. You're assuming the number of businesses is static.

And look at Seattle and how many jobs were lost.

@meta_self So far, the Seattle minimum-wage increase is doing what it's ...
        https://www.washingtonpost.com/posteverything/wp/2016/08/10/so-far-the-seattle-minimum-wage-increase-is-doing-what-its-supposed-to-do/?utm_term=.d94dd65d86fa
In April 2015, the city raised its minimum wage from around $9.50 to $11, on the way to $15 an hour by 2017 (for employers with 500 or more employees and certain other employers; the minimum wage for most Seattle businesses rose to $10 in April 2015, and $15 will not go into effect for all Seattle businesses until 2021 ...

@arkle @jackson23 Yeah how about a more neutral resource:

“Our report indicates that Seattle’s track record after increasing the minimum wage is neither as negative as some had feared nor as positive as some had hoped,” Vigdor said. “While the vibrant local economy is boosting employment and incomes up and down the economic ladder, the positive effects of a higher minimum wage are being at least partly offset by cutbacks in hours.”

        http://www.washington.edu/news/2016/07/25/minimum-wage-study-effects-of-seattle-wage-hike-modest-may-be-overshadowed-by-strong-economy/

It makes no real difference and may hurt low income workers.

@meta_self "Yeah how about a more neutral resource:"

Which of my sources are you insulting? The not-known-for-being-liberal Forbes, or the paper that helped bring down Nixon?

@arkle How about an actual university study published in a peer-reviewed journal

@meta_self That was published 6 months before the Forbes article I shared. 6 months worth of more evidence since then.

Oh, and I found this gem in your article.

"The researchers cautioned, however, that their findings are statistical averages that could mask distinctions among different types of workers. The findings address only the short-run impact of Seattle’s wage hike to $11 an hour and don’t reflect the full range of experiences for thousands of individual workers in the Seattle economy."

So your counterargument doesn't actually say what you think it says.

The article also says more work will be done on the subject, yet you were presenting it as if it was a completed study that proved you right. I guess you were just assuming I wouldn't look at the link. Well, joke's on you if that's the case. You made the mistake of not using a Right Wing hate group as a source this time, so I had no reason to ignore it.

@arkle Yes, it does. It says, like all research does, that they need more time.

No research is complete. Do you have any background in statistics or science? I do and I can tell you that the general picture shows that the measure did nothing valuable as good effects were offset by band ones.

Further research can show us more about the demographics.

But this is hardly a statistical artifcat (know what that means?).

@meta_self At the end of the day, you said the min. wage increase in Seattle cost jobs, and we have evidence as recent as last month that says it isn't true. Your most recent info is 8 months old and by its own admission not complete.

@arkle It did. I just showed you the data showing that it cost some works their job and many how many hours they work.

No research is complete. Thanks for answering my question about your background on the matter.

@meta_self "It did. I just showed you the data showing that it cost some works their job and many how many hours they work. "

Data that's about 8 months out of date compared to my most recent source.

        @arkle Here's something more recent:

"For job seekers in Seattle, the news was less positive. By December 2015, Seattle had a couple of thousand fewer new low-wage jobs than it should have based on its past and what occurred in surrounding areas.

“It’s becoming a harder place to get a start in the labor market,” Vigdor said.

All of the new jobs created in Seattle on net since 2014 are positions that pay more than $25 per hour, the study showed. Vigdor said it’s also possible that low-wage jobs are disappearing faster in Seattle because the city has become too expensive for poor workers to live, even with their new raises."

@meta_self @arkle I think it's time... to see you both live!

@meta_self Your new article just repeats the points made in your first link, which as I pointed out is using 8 months out of date information.

Though unlike you, it at least as the decency to include counterarguments. So at least I can give you points for using a fair source, even if you are using it disengenuously.

@arkle You can't read apparently. The study was from November and the article is two weeks old.

@gigi "I think it's time... to see you both live!"

I don't think so. I see enough racists on my Twitter timeline, I don't need one following up my Mom's laptop*.

        * It's been months and I still can't figure out why H2H will not work on my home computer. My Mom can't either and she's a computer science major with website degin expereince.

@arkle You're the only idiot here who thinks I'm racist. Really, you need to go out more. It will do you good in more ways than one lol

@meta_self " You're the only idiot here who thinks I'm racist."

Yeah, fair point. I mean, you only say racist things, repeat racist memes, and defend a racist President who appointed white supremacists to his inner circle. No evidence of racism there. *eyeroll*

Next you're gonna tell me that Hitelr wasn't anti-Semitic and that Roman Polanski isn't a rapist.

@arkle Now you're fucking calling me a rape apologist?

        Go fuck off you weirdo.

@arkle The whole point of the H2H video debates is exactly to avoid endless rands on social media that never get us anywhere. Labelling and marginalizing individuals with whom we don't agree is exactly why the world is as divided as ever.

Let me know if you want to do a test together with your laptop. Any laptop with mic/ camera, good internet connection and Chrome browser should work ok

@meta_self "Racist" is the only "argument" that mentally-enslaved sheep like Arkle ever have. Try not to take it personally.

@meta_self how is forbes and Washington post biased.

@gigi " Labelling and marginalizing individuals with whom we don't agree is exactly why the world is as divided as ever. "

Despite what you may have heard, I don't call everyone who disagrees with me a racist. Didn't call anyone who disagreed about the coming end of the age of the millionaire musician a racist. Didn't call anyone who disagreed wtih me about the ten-year rule for tattoos a racist. I could go on and on. I only call racists racists, and if we can't call racists what they are, then by definition we are not telling the truth, and if we can't tell the truth at this site, then this site serve no purpose.

@meta_self "Now you're fucking calling me a rape apologist? "

Wow, touched a nerve there did I? I was engaging in hyperbole. Note how the Polanski comment followed the Hitler one. The fact that you got SO defensive over that, more so even than me pointing out you past racism, suggests to me that maybe I accidentally got it right and you actually are a rape apologist. Wow. The meta_self doth protest too much, to mangle the words of the Bard.

@jackson23 "how is forbes and Washington post biased."

They don't agree with Donald Trump 100% of the time. That's enough for meta_self. If you aren't with Trump, your information must be "fake news."

@gigi "Let me know if you want to do a test together with your laptop. Any laptop with mic/ camera, good internet connection and Chrome browser should work ok"

I don't own a laptop. That's why I've used my Mom's for the H2Hs. Yaz and I have tried to get it to work on my home unit in the past. It just doesn't. *shrug*

@arkle No one likes or wants you here.
Yeah I'm gunna let some pussy keyboard warrior slander my person.

You use hyperbole because you have no argumnet.

@meta_self "No one likes or wants you here."

Oh no, a Nazi hates me. Whatever shall I do? After I finish laughing, I mean.

"Yeah I'm gunna let some pussy keyboard warrior slander my person. "

Ain't slander if it's true. Plus, only a sexist moron would use the term "pussy" as a term of weakness.

"You use hyperbole because you have no argumnet."

I have arguments, you just don't read them. You've made that clear. Anything that doesn't echo what your new Daddy Trump says is bad so you don't care what it says. Facts be damned, maybe if you defend Rapey McTinyhands enough maybe he'll love you the way no woman with self-esteem will.

@arkle Now everyone on this site but you is a Nazi?

        You don't know me.

I have no arguments besides I'm or others a motivated by bigotry.

Youre the only one hear motivated by hate.

@meta_self "Now everyone on this site but you is a Nazi?"

No. Why do you keep repeating the lie that I call EVERYONE who disagrees with me a Nazi? And it is a lie, by the way. Like I've said in other comments, there are plenty of examples of me not claling people who disagree with me Nazis. It's really only you and about three others (eh, more if you count a few people who don't really come around anymore). Think about that for a second. If trump gives you permission to, I mean.

        "You don't know me."

I know your words. What you write tells me you're a racist and a liar.

"I have no arguments besides I'm or others a motivated by bigotry."

Bit of a Freudian slip there? You just admitted you have no arguments and are motivated by bigotry. That or you were drunk when you wrote that sentence, I could believe either one.

"Youre the only one hear motivated by hate."

And this is why I think you're a moron. You are saying I'm full of hate, because I oppose Nazis. That is such a stupid thing to say, I actually had to read it five times to make sure you actually said it. How can you be that dumb and still work a keyboard? Someone as idiotic as you'd have to be to beelive what you just said in your closing sentence would need help putting on their shoes correctly.

@arkle You said it yourself you're motivated by hate.

        All your arguments include pathos.

Hate is hate. It's toxic no matter what. Nothing productive comes out of hate.

@meta_self "You said it yourself you're motivated by hate. "

Hatred of Nazis. Not the same thing. No, it isn't, take your fingers off the keyboard. What you are about to type in response to that is not new, it is not profound, and it is not going to work.

Using your disased logic meta, a woman who hates her abuser is just as bad as her abuser. That isn't how it works.

        "All your arguments include pathos."

Like I said in another thread; your President ran on fear. You have no right to judge other people. Your support for the wall is based on emotion. You feel like it will work when SCIENCE AND MATH tell you it won't. You think you're a Vulcan, but you aren't even a Ferengi. At least the Ferengi were occasionally entertaining.

"Hate is hate. It's toxic no matter what. Nothing productive comes out of hate."

So the Jews who hated the Nazis were being toxic? Abuse victims who hate their abusers are toxic? Rape victims who hate their attackers are toxic? Also, clearly you don't think hate is toxic. You voted for man endorsed by some of the biggest hate groups in the country. You are totally pro-hate. Don't piss down my back and tell it's raining.

@arkle Hate is hate. It's toxic no matter what. Nothing productive comes out of hate.

You assume that you must hate those who wrong you. Rather, you must deal with them and ultimately be tolerant of them.

Even for those who hurt us, once we remove the threat, the emotion of hate does none of us any good. Hate is for the immature of the soul.

That's not to say I never feel hate, and by all means you're evoking that in me now. But I know ultimately hate does nothing positive for me. I don't want to insult you. Every time I do I feel I've moved back somehow. Yet that doesn't mean I approve of what you do.

You see the difference; just because you disagree strongly doesn't mean you hate. Hating is a waste of energy. So I wouldn't want to spend my precious and valuable energy hating you, despite you being insulative and antagonistic.

@meta_self "Hate is hate. It's toxic no matter what. Nothing productive comes out of hate."

Syas the man who voted for Trump, who ran on a platform of hate. F*** you.

"You assume that you must hate those who wrong you. Rather, you must deal with them and ultimately be tolerant of them. "

Because that worked so well in stopping Hitler, right? Your view of history is so warped I doubt anything short of time travel could show you how wrong you are.

"Even for those who hurt us, once we remove the threat, the emotion of hate does none of us any good."

But what about when the threat is still there? Convincing dumbasses you like you to vote for it and support it's unfeasible wall and unconstitutional travel ban?

"Hate is for the immature of the soul."

Again, you voted for the guy endorsed by the KKK who's top advisor is a literal Nazi. That all makes everything you're saying about me here ring totally hollow. You're a bargain basement motivational speaker trying to sound profound when you talk like this.

'That's not to say I never feel hate; and by all means your evoking that in me now."

Well of course you hate me. I shatter your image of what the world is like because you're too immature to handle reality. Realities such as your President's and your own racism, the fact that the southern border wall can't be built because science, and that hating people who advocate for genocide is in fact NOT the same as advocating for genocide.

        Also, *you're.

"I don't want to insult you."

If that were true, you would stop with all the lying and racism and Pizzagate peddling nonsense.

"Hating is a waste of energy. "

Only if you don't have an outlet for it. Calling you out on your racism, lies, and conspiracy theory nonsense helps. Getting to punch a Nazi would be nice too, but that Spencer guy won't come anywhere near Rialto.

        @arkle https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reductio_ad_Hitlerum

Any points which don't appeal to emotion?

@meta_self Plenty. But you won't read them. You just call the source biased against Trump. Of course, seeing as journalists (good ones anyway) are about truth, and Trump is a pathological liar, that's technically accurate, but that doesn't make the journalists wrong. A lot of reporters who covered WWII hated Hitler. Care to dismiss everything they have to say too?

Also, stop with your "appeal to emotion" bull. Your party ran on feelings over facts. Your counter argument against me here is as shallow as your skull.

@arkle Name a point that doesn't appeal to emotions.

@meta_self "Name a point that doesn't appeal to emotions."

Will you actually read them if I do? Oh, wait, no you won't. Becuase I have, and you didn't. Just claiming to be logical doesn't make you logical meta. You can Ctrl+V "Any points which don't appeal to emotion?" all you want. Doesn't make you clever, or right. It just means you have equal intelligence to a parrot. Good for you. Want a cookie for that?

"Any points which don't appeal to emotion?"

You believe in Pizzagate. That's my case right there. I don't need to say anything else. You think the Pizzagate conspiracy theory which got an innocent pizza establishment shot up is true. That alone is evidence that you have nothing of value to add to this or any other conversation.

@arkle What do you think pizzagate is?

@meta_self "What do you think pizzagate is?"

A conspiracy theory that you admitted to believing is true in another thread. It's a lie spread by liars and gullible idiots like you that tried to tie Tan Dumplord's opponent in the 2016 election to a child sex ring (that doesn't exist) in a pizza place's basement (that doesn't exist; the basement I mean. The building literally has no basement).

@arkle Nope, I don't believe there's a sex ring being run out of Comet Ping Pong.

Rather, when you take into account several factors, the coded emails, the disgusting tastes in their art and humor (both Podestas and Alifantis), the surprising number of children missing from the three counties surrounding DC (7x higher than the national average) who more than half aren't paired with a photo, the use of pedo symbols, one has to be suspicious and investigate.

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GZFHLAcG8A

        https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1497611 (support for my suspecion)

Do you think it's cute to call a baby a retarded whore? Or just dandy to have penis artwork in your family friendly restaurant?

Something stinks there and we know the elites are often assoicated with pedo rings.

@meta_self "Nope, I don't believe there's a sex ring being run out of Comet Ping Pong."

        Oh, okay.

"Rather, when you take into account several factors, the coded emails, the disgusting tastes in their art and humor (both Podestas and Alifantis), the surprising number of children missing from the three counties surrounding DC (7x higher than the national average) who more than half aren't paired with a photo, the use of pedo symbols, one has to be suspicious and investigate. "

Oh, no, wait, you do believe the conspiracy theory. You're back to being trash. Lying, lying, trash. Delete your account.

"Do you think it's cute to call a baby a retarded whore?"

        No, if it actually happened.

"Or just dandy to have penis artwork in your family friendly restaurant?"

Do you think it's dandy to be an idiot?

"Something stinks there and we know the elites are often assoicated with pedo rings."

        What stinks is your lies.

Especially ones that are dangerous. If anyone had died at Comet Ping Ping, their deaths would be on the heads on everyone who spread the lie. Yourself included.

@arkle Do you think pedo rings are a joke?

@meta_self "Do you think pedo rings are a joke?"

Real ones? No. Made up ones that idiots like you treat as legit? No there either since it got an innocent restaurant shot at.

Oh, also you wrote, and I quote, "Do you think pedo rings are a joke?"

Do you have a point here that isn't an apepal to emotion? >:)

@arkle How do you explain the missing children in Virginia that is 7x high than the national average? They have more people missing in those small areas than they do in all of FL or NY or TX.

@meta_self "How do you explain the missing children in Virginia that is 7x high than the national average? "

Could be any number of reasons. most likely is they were taken by someone they know, since that is who, statistically, the most likely culprit is in a child abduction.

"They have more people missing in those small areas than they do in all of FL or NY or TX."

Is that true, or was that just from your stupid conspiracy theory YouTube video that you tried to pass off as news?

I mean, you already believe a lot of things that aren't true, so your judgment is suspect.

No, Pizzagate is a lie. A very popular lie around anti-Semitic and racist message boards I might add. But keep telling me you're not a racist.

@meta_self That site does not support any of your claims. Like, at all. You're still a stupid conspiracy theorist. Nothing you say deserves to be given any credibility. By anyone. Piss off to 4chan with all the other racist liars.

        http://www.snopes.com/pizzagate-conspiracy

@arkle SO you didn't compare the numbers by state?

You can lead the ignorant to the facts, but you can't make them face it.

@meta_self You think Pizzagate is real, numbnuts. You literally have NO standing to call otehr people "ignorant to the facts."

@arkle Why haven't you checked out the numbers per state?

@meta_self I did. The numbers don't prove your theory. You offer no proof. Just a number taken out of cotnext, and facts without context are meanignless. You are menaignless. Delete your account.

@arkle Yes, they do. VA's numbers are way larger than other states with a similar population. It has more than NJ or NY!

This needs to be explained, along with this too:

Also, can we just point out how hilarious it is that the Right Wing HATED WikiLeaks up until the moment they became an arm of the Trump Presidential Campaign? Why, it's almost as if Republicans have no principles!

@arkle I never said anyone was my hero. I don't hold people up like you.

Being called pathetic and lazy by a conspiracy theory peddler is like being called a shitty movie director by Uwe Boll.

"Hah this only proves that what they leak is true. "

It's true, because I showed evidence that it wasn't and made fun of you? That is literally the stupidest thing you've said today, and that's saying something.

"You just don't like what they leak."

When it's made up, yeah. Shoudl I like lies? Just becuase you do doesn't mean I should. And don't say you don't like lies. You voted for Donald trump, a pathological liar. Clealry lies don't bother you.

@arkle So you're wrong about wiki leaks being inaccurate or fake.

@meta_self "So you're wrong about wiki leaks being inaccurate or fake."

I called those specific e-mails fake. And it's not impossible.

        http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2016/oct/23/are-clinton-wikileaks-emails-doctored-or-are-they-/

"It’s possible to verify the legitimacy of some, but not all, of the emails, cybersecurity experts said. So we can’t definitively say none of the thousands of leaked emails, which came from campaign chair John Podesta's account, have been doctored.

Experts told PolitiFact that there is precedent to support Kaine’s claim. While most of the emails are probably unaltered, they said there is a chance that at least a few have been tampered with in some way.

"I've looked at a lot of document dumps provided by hacker groups over the years, and in almost every case you can find a few altered or entirely falsified documents," said Jeffrey Carr, CEO of cybersecurity firm Taia Global. "

Here's my question; why are you so blase about the gay people they outed in Saudi Arabia? Or their anti-Semitism? or Julian Assange being a rapist? Or is rape only bad when it's fake and can be used as a cudgel against Hillary Clinton?

I mean, you voted for a rapist, your chief source in spreading the Pizzagate lie is a website founded by a rapist, you demonstrably give zero Fs about rape victims doxxed by WikiLeaks...

        @arkle "...or are they?"

        lmao dun dun dun

You haven't showed that those are fake, and there is no valid reason to think so.

@meta_self "and there is no valid reason to think so."

If by "no valid reason" you mean a perfectly valid reason because there is precedence, then yes.

"You haven't showed that those are fake,"

You haven't shown this pedo ring in D.C. you think exists is real. Because it isn't. I've shown it isn't. The basment it's being run out of? Doesn't exist. The pictures you say are pedophile codes? No evidence for that except from anti-Semtic, racist message boards frequented by Nazi trolls. But you really want it to be. You really really want there to be a child sex trafficking ring in D.C. Where the rapist you voted for currently lives. Hmm. Curious.

        @arkle What's the reason?

I'm saying it should be investigated because there's good reason to beleive something is going on. Why are all those children missing, espically with out pictures.

@meta_self "I'm saying it should be investigated because there's good reason to beleive something is going on."

        No there isn't. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/12/10/business/media/pizzagate.html

"Why are all those children missing, espically with out pictures."

Any number of reasons. The most likely being abducted by someone they know. Occam's Razor motherf***er, do you know it?

Also, don't pretend you care about missing children. or children in general. In another thread you spent a whole paragraph trying to make it okay for a child to have been murdered by a cop. if these e-mails you think are proof of something implicated Donald Trump you'd be the first to call them fake. You, through your words, have shown me that you would literally PREFER children being raped to you being wrong.

And that is the last thing I have to say about the lie that is Pizzagate and the morons like you who bought into it. Every single one of you prats needs to be sterilized so we don't end up in Idiocracy.

        @arkle NY times article debunked:
        https://steemit.com/pizzagate/@son-of-satire/the-debunking-of-the-new-york-times-debunking-of-pizzagate

But why larger than 7x the average?

lol Now you're thinking like actual Nazi Scum with that eugenic comment.

@meta_self *sigh* Just when I thought I was out...

        Steemit isn't a news site.

        You.

        Idiot.

So of course you believe it. We live in the world of "alternative facts" now. You'll believe anything that makes those opposed to your Dear Leader, the Orange Turd, look bad. Credibility be damned.

@arkle No one is claiming it's a news site. It's a step by step sourced criticism of the NYS paper, citing inaccuracies and falsehoods.

@meta_self "No one is claiming it's a news site. It's a step by step sourced criticism of the NYS paper, citing inaccuracies and falsehoods."

In the first paragraph, they say a ring is being run out of that pizza place that was shot up, and where cops who investigated the shooting found no ring. First. F***ing. Paragraph.

No reputable news sources buy your stupid lies meta. Get over it. You are a conspiracy theory peddling nutcase. Worse than 9/11 Truthers because at least 9/11 Truthers don't invent stories about children being raped. That's what you do, you sick little bastard.

Pizzagate is a lie. http://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2016/12/5/13842258/pizzagate-comet-ping-pong-fake-news It's a lie. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2016/dec/05/how-pizzagate-went-fake-news-real-problem-dc-busin/ A filthy, disgusting, lie. http://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-38156985 Someone could've died because a guy with a gun believed this garbage you spread as if it were facts. It's only through providence that no one did. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/12/10/business/media/pizzagate.html I mean, imagine for a second that this ring you want to so badly to be true (maybe because you were hoping your boy would Trump would give you his sloppy seconds?) was true. For the sake of argument. Shooting an assault rifle into a building where kids are allegedly being held hostage helps them, how? Not that I expect from conspiracy nuts like him or yourself. https://theringer.com/pizzagate-fake-news-conspiracy-theories-d43412f06157#.e810lqlcp All you have are e-mails from a source with an agenda against Hillary Clinton and a history of acting to harm people under the guise of "government transparency." http://countercurrentnews.com/2016/11/pizzagate-conspiracy-theory-debunked/

        @arkle Second sentence:
"No one--or at least no one credible--is asserting that Hillary Clinton and her top aides (meaning John Podesta and co.) are running a child-trafficking ring out of Comet Ping Pong Pizza. "

lol you read the grey text which was the NYS article.

@meta_self No, I read after that. Here's the line I was referring to. "It has merely been alleged--and not without merit--that they are involved in a paedophile ring. [...] A better representation of the theory would be to state that Comet is alleged to be a paedophile-friendly environment which invites paedophile-friendly bands to perform there, and has curious ties to the government establishment in Washington DC."

Of course, there is no merit. This non-article is conspiracy theory garbage. I assume your next source will be LiveJournal? Or maybe MySpace?

@arkle Read the rest of the article and links I provided if you want to hear support.

You need to focus on content, and not source.

@meta_self "You need to focus on content, and not source."

You once told me you wouldn't read any of my sources because they were hostile to Cheeto Jesus. Not a verbatim quote obviously, you would never call your Furher "Cheeto Jesus," but that was the gist of it.

And yet here you are telling me to trust unreliable soruces more than you trust my reliable ones.

In the words of that walking dumspter fire you voted for, "What a lose. Sad."

@arkle I never said anything like that.

I'm asking you to consider points of view and sourced material.

You're still mad that you lost. Suck it up buttercup.

@meta_self "I never said anything like that. "

Yes you did. You asked for sources, I gave them, you said you wouldn't read them because they would make Trump look bad.

"I'm asking you to consider points of view and sourced material. "

You're asking me to help you spread slanderous lies based on a conspiracy theories pushed on web forums run by literal Nazis.

"You're still mad that you lost. Suck it up buttercup."

Yes, I'm mad that a rapist is President. I'm mad that a racist is President. I'm mad that a liar is President. The problem isn't that I'm mad. It's that you aren't. You're okay with every godawful thing that monster has done in the mere two weeks he's been in that office, soiling it with his bronzer while he fantasizes about his own daughter. This makes you a bad person. Period. Immoral. Up there with people who con the elderly and illegally park in handicapped spaces on the scale of people who are only alive because there is no just and loving God.

@arkle Nope. I never said I WILL NOT look at a source because I disagree with it.

You made that claim with wiki leaks.

@meta_self "Nope. I never said I WILL NOT look at a source because I disagree with it. "

        yes you did.

"You made that claim with wiki leaks."

And the anti-gay group you tried to use to defend your anti-marriage equality stance that you tried to spin as not being anti-marriage equality. And with good reason, that I gave. I cited lack of credibility. You cited your hurt fee-fees over them telling truths about you Daddy Trump that you didn't like to hear.

Basically, you wanted a safe space from real journalism. Typical Right Wing snowflake; cold and fragile as f***.

@arkle Well if you have to resort to lying, we both know you're at wit's end.

You said wiki leaks are fake, without evidence.

I was never against gay marriage. Another lie.

@arkle no way I voted for sanders in the primary and Hillary in the general I was asking meta self that question.

@meta_self "Well if you have to resort to lying, we both know you're at wit's end. "

I'm not the one lying, Mr. Pizzagate.

"You said wiki leaks are fake, without evidence. "

I didn't say all of WikiLeaks is fake. You saying that I did is a lie. I pointed out that there is precedence for documents coming from them having been doctored. Delete your account. Or at the very least learn to read.

"I was never against gay marriage. Another lie."

Quit trying to gaslight me, asshole. You compared it to cultural appropriation, then tried to say that marriage benefits should only go to couples with children (which is not only anti-same sex couples but anti-couples who are infertile or who choose not to procreate). Your whole argument in that thread was based on your lying about what cultural appropriation is, then saying appropriation wasn't a bad thing (it is), then demonstrating a lack of understanding of the history of the institution of marriage (like all anti-marriage equality bigots). I know you voted for Trump and thus are demonstrably dumb and racist, but when you try to make the case that couples should be denied the same government benefits that opposite-sex couples get because their genitals and/or gender identity math, that is anti-marriage equality, and unconstitutional under the 14th Amendment. Your separate-but-equal idea for marriage is just another example of you being a scum sucking bigoted piece of trash. You were, in essence, arguing for Jim Crow for LGBTQ couples. Delete your account.

@arkle I change my mind about the benefits. I actually had a controstive conversation about it and changed my mind.

@arkle Holy shit I was going to make a joke about you living with your mom, but you actually do. Priceless.

@deusvult "Across the street from" isn't "with," but whatever. I feel sad for you that you have such a shitty relationship with your family that you can't imagine that other people actually get along well with theirs.

@arkle That's a fallacy called Argumentum Estrogenum, also known as being an emotional little bitch lmao

@deusvult No, that's you being such a broken little troll that you somehow see someone being close to their family as a weakness. That's pathetic. I can't even hate you know, I just feel sad for how empty your existence must be. No wonder you were so ripe for being recruited by 4chan Nazis. :(

@arkle I love that people like you are so stupid you still don't realize why you lost the election so badly. Keep up the Good Work champ :)

@deusvult The guy who seems to view "gets along with his Mom" as a weakness has no standing to insult anyone else's intelligence.

Also, what does your sad family life have to do with the election?

@arkle Slow down there you Nazi racist, did you just assume my gender?

@deusvult Did you actually say "did you just assume my gender?" Dude, no one says that but straw trans people made up by transphobes.

Man, you really can't handle the fact that I have a good relationship with my parents can you? It hasn't even been 45 minutes yet and already you're getting more and more unhinged ever since you figured that out.

Good gods man, how horrible was your relationship with your parents, that you feel the need to put down mine?

@arkle I can't believe you keep calling me "man" like that, as if gender isn't a social construct with no basis in biology or facts. Don't you realize how hurtful your micro-aggressions are? I need Play-Dough and a safe space immediately

@deusvult You certainly do need a safe space. A padded one. With doctors on the other side observing you. I'll be over here. With my family. That I can count on. Something no decent human being would have a problem with.

@agent00mama excellent point about big companies who are profitable and healthy offering higher salaries. So maybe rather than discussing increasing minimum wage, it's better to talk about how to make our small businesses more profitable and successful so that they can support higher salaries

@jeeep33 Not subsidizing companies that bring in billions of dollars in profits would be a good start. Wal_mart, Exxon, etc, do just fine without tax breaks, yet they keep asking for them, and worst of all, getting them. Becuase we do not actually have a free market economy. Selling America as a free market economy is like trying to promote The Shining as a coming-of-age story.

This was a pretty great debate, both of you guys were prepared, I really enjoyed watching. Arkle I think you made a great point about the success of similar countries with a higher min wage

Minimum wage is supposed to help exploitation of the weaker segments of the society.. @arkle totally agree that government intervention is essential

When someone says "minimum wage should be raised," it's a dead giveaway--every single time--of someone who's never run a business or even been in a high position within whatever organization they work for. It's an argument made by people at the bottom of the totem pole who just want more money and have never bothered to think through the consequences of how it would play out--while ignoring what happens in places that attempt such a stupid policy.

@deusvult "It's an argument made by people at the bottom of the totem pole who just want more money..."

Yeah, what assholes we all are, wanting to live and feed our families. *eyeroll*

@arkle It's not the desire to live and feed your families that I disdain, it's the fact that you want to do so by taking more from others instead of providing more value to the world.

@deusvult " It's not the desire to live and feed your families that I disdain, it's the fact that you want to do so by taking more from others instead of providing more value to the world."

Taxes are the price you pay for living in a civilized society. And that means those tax dollars will sometimes go to benefit people you don't like. But you know what? Their tax dollars go to you too, in providing the Internet you use to spread falsehoods about welfare that are rooted in decades-old racist stereotypes. They don't like that any more than you like them getting to eat. But you don't see Black activists trying to take away welfare benefits from White people. Especially since most welfare benefits go to white people, despite what the KKK, the GOP, and Fox would have you believe. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/02/28/food-stamp-demographics_n_6771938.html

Black people on food stamps don't think less of my White ass for needing the same benefits (yes, even with a job I still qualify; it's almost as if paying less than a living wage is a bad idea!). How about some reciproiocty?

@arkle And last time you read a book about entrepreneurship and tried to start your own business, which member of the "evil 1%" came over and took that business away? Be specific.

@deusvult I've never tried to start my own business. I like how you used the scare quotes on the 1% there, as if they aren't real.

@arkle "I've never tried to start my own business."

No kidding, and thanks for proving my point. You play the victim about a "livable wage" but haven't lifted a finger to create money on your own terms. Exactly as I predicted above.

@deusvult "You play the victim about a "livable wage" but haven't lifted a finger to create money on your own terms."

Becuase the only people of value are those who start a business huh? Everyone else has no value? They are not worthy of compassion, or empathy, or the right to survive? Delete your account, sociopath.

Well with debating skills like those, it's no wonder you pussed out of accepting my challenge ;)

Man, I wish I'd said something like this during the debate.

"People "losing jobs to machines" is only a problem because we force people to work for their basic human needs. It's a problem of values. In an ideal world, mechanization means fewer human labor hours spent on monotony, freeing us to be creative and explore other things. Instead, people have to look for more busy-work, because we demand that people perform labor to prove they deserve to live."

@arkle Waaaaaaaah you have to work instead of sit around being a useless sack of shit all day being handed everything you want by someone else. Welcome to adulthood.

@deusvult Took you a whole month to come up with that, Nazi Frog?

@arkle Isn't it funny how people who work hard don't have as much time as you to sit around insulting people on the internet? I wonder if there's a connection.

@deusvult Isn't it funny how you call me a coward when you're the one wearing a white supremacist symbol for a mask and using a term popular in white supremcaist circles as a username? Delete your account, Nazi.
