    From what I understand, the pipeline is not even going directly through the reservation, only near it. The government has legal rights to do construction on that land. Trump was right to give the project the green light again.

      @matt_callert25 And what about the sacred sites the pipeline will destroy?? The pipeline is close enough that it can destroy Sioux land and THAT is infringing on their right to the land

      @matt_callert25 it's going to have adverse effects on those people, the loakata people are actually Thier own soverign nation they have a right to protect their land. As I recall isn't emnient domain involved in this situation because emnient domain is only supposed to be use for the public sector not for the benefit of a private corporations.

    I think Native Americans who live close to there have a right to be pissed but I'm not sure their side will hold up too well in court, unless they prove that people were harmed by the construction
