Um no, this is a direct result of Assad's leadership. You can't blame a chemical weapons attack on a response you weren't happy with in 2013. The person who ordered the attack is directly responsible

@derrickthekid Obama went soft the last time Assad used chemical weapons, did you really expect that he wouldn't do it again given that he got away without even a slap on the wrist last time?

@torimarie "Obama went soft the last time Assad used chemical weapons"

      This is a lie.

      You are a liar.

@torimarie Lol yall remember when Trump and his ilk were attacking Obama for being a warhawk with Syria? Seems like they cant decide what Obama did wrong exactly, just that he is wrong somehow

@torimarie it was never proven and the motive doesn't add up.

@torimarie Assad never used chemical weapons. There is absolutely no proof of that. Quite the opposite actually. This is according to three separate investigations by the UN, US and MIT.
What benefit would he have from using them?
Why would the US blow up a military base that stores them? Would this not poison everyone in the surrounding area?
Why would the US care if he did? They don't care when Israel, Saudi Arabia or they themselves commit war crimes.
This war has nothing to do with helping Syrians. If they wanted to help people the could stop arming terrorists and propping up dictatorships.

This is a lie. When Obama tried to get Congressional authorization to take action, the GOP-controlled Hosue of Representatives (who has the actual authority when it comes to war; something Republicans expect their idiot voter base to forget) did nothing, then blamed Obama for nothing being done. Blaming Obama for this is like blaming Bill Clinton for 9/11 when Dubya was the one who ignroed the PDB warnings about Bin Lad- oh, wait, the GOP did that too! >:(

Liars, the lot of them. Why do people still vote for these schmucks?

Oh, it's beucase they hate non-white people, right, I almost forgot.

      1) There's no evidence Assad has used chemical weapons, however there is evidence the "Rebels" have used chemical weapons.
      2) neither in 2013 or in this event did Assad have any logical reason to conduct such an attack. He's winning the conflict and it was literally on the evening of a peace talk.
3)Trump supported Obama not entering Syria in 2013.

PS I would really like to h2h this!

The chemical attack is a direct result of Obama and others helping the rebels and ordering to use chemical weapons.
Seymour Hersch who was the head investigator for the US for the 2013 chemical attack in Ghouta. Guess what he concluded the attack was carried out by the rebels. A UN investigator made the same conclusion and lost her job as a result.
Syrians Analysis is a great channel on YouTube explaining the situation in Syria. The guy who runs the channel is an academic on Eurasia and a Syrian refugee living in Germany.
Tyranny Unmasked is another channel which is essential viewing on YouTube.
How anyone can believe the propaganda is beyond me. The whole story is beyond dumb. We know the Turks have given rebels chemical weapons. We know rebels have used chemical weapons including mustard gas against even US soldiers.
Why the hell would Assad do something so dumb as to use gas.
Trump broke international and US law by bombing Syria last night.

I would love to debate anybody that thinks Trump's response to the chemical attacks were better than Obama's. Being "tough" and "decisive" isn't worth a damn in reality, only in the minds of impressionable voters.
