Interesting view that has been discussed, re-searched and analyzed a lot over the last centuries. I recommend reading "Homo Sapiens: A brief history of humankind"... The truth is that there was a point that scientists had thought that they had found evidence of the above statement but later on these theories were debunked. So who knows..

@gigi I haven't read it but I might have a look at it.
I say this because there is quite a bit of evidence to support it. A researcher in university of Chicago was make some uncomfortable discoveries, for lack of a better term, but he had to abandon his research due to the controversy it caused.
It is recognised that at least as teenagers the mean IQ of boys and girls is the same but there is a greater variance among the boys, I.e. the are more male geniuses and more male morons.
This research has been criticised however because mens brains develop later and it is suspected men's IQ may surpass that if women later in life.
I mean we can see all the physical differences between genders and races, I find it strange no one is willing to recognise that there may be IQ differences.
We know men are physically superior to women and we know black men are physically superior to white men. But once IQ is mentioned things become very uncomfortable.
There were studies done on the IQ of Askanazi Jews and it showed they tended to have a far higher IQ than other white and even other Jews.
Parts of Asia have been found to have higher IQs than whites.
I am aware IQ is a very faulty measure of intelligence and psychologists can't agree with one another what intelligence even is.
But assuming there are differences I don't see why its controversial. By measuring by race or gender it says nothing about an individual. And even if it did, I don't think human lives should be valued by their IQ. And this is something that mist people recognise. People who are intellectually disabled, for example, are not devoid of rights. Indeed, you could even say they get special priveleges and are equally cherished as human beings.
I just think it silly to recognise the very different physical aspects of different races but flat out deny the possibility of differences in intelligence.

As a whole yes. But individually, not really.

And with that @bubba has publically confirmed he is, in fact, a White Supremacist.

Don't claim youaren't dude, you just LITERALLY parroted an age old racist/sexist talking point based on bad science.

@arkle I didn't know white supremacists claim its likely Jews and Asian are smarter than whites and blacks are physically superior.
I also didn't know white supremacists stand against imperialism, speak out against the continued massacres and atrocities committed against black Africans and Arab Muslims by white western governments.
I didn't know white supremacists take a stand against the colonial Franc in which the French government steals €500 billion a year from impoverished African countries.
By your logic the fact that I said Jews are likely smarter on average than whites I would be a Jewish supremacists yet I am constantly criticising Zionism and the apartheid state of Israel.

@bubba "I didn't know white supremacists claim its likely Jews and Asian are smarter than whites and blacks are physically superior."

It's called "positive stereotyping." And it is still bigoted. It basically assumes that "all Jews" are good at handling money and "all Asians" are good at math. And in the former case, it used to reinforce anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. What it boils down to is "White people haven to fight harder to hold on to this world God gave us 'cause the Jews and Asians have an unfair advantage."

"I also didn't know white supremacists stand against imperialism, speak out against the continued massacres and atrocities committed against black Africans and Arab Muslims by white western governments."

Most don't, but people are complicated. I mean, there are misogynists who watch My Little Pony, and racists who watch Star Trek. *shrug* I don't get it either frankly, but there it is.

"By your logic the fact that I said Jews are likely smarter on average than whites I would be a Jewish supremacists yet I am constantly criticising Zionism and the apartheid state of Israel."

If you oversimplified my logic and pretended that cognitive dissonance isn't a known phenomenon, then yes, you would be absolutely right.

@arkle it doesn't assume all Jew, all blacks, all whites.
When speaking in broad terms which is what talking about a whole race is, well then generalisations are made. That is the point of generalisations.
Of course not all Jew are good at handling money but a disproportionate amount are. Look at the number of Jewish Nobel laureates for economics. Look at the number of top financiers who are Jewish.
Yeah, the greatest economist/financier of all time may be a black Buddhist, and the worst a jew, but in general terms Jews dominate finance.
The greatest athlete of all time may be Japanese, but in general top athletes are black.
I don't understand how you can acknowledged the very obvious physical differences in different races but flat out deny any intellectual ones. We know for example the brains of women are wired totally differently and this can be seen on MRI scans. I thought you would support that since I assume you support people transgender rights which is based on this. A woman was born in a mans body or vice versa. We can see the very obvious differences in men and women physically but its totally impossible for there to be intellectual differences?
Blacks for example are the only race with no Neanderthal blood. We know black have a higher rate of sickle cell anemia to protect them against malaria. Jews have a gene which greatly increases the risk of breast cancer, but there is no way they may have a gene that contributes to superior intelligence.
I understand you disagreeing with me. I'm not even sure of this theory myself. Thats why I put it up here for discussion and said its likely not there definitely is. How that make me a white suprwmacist I don't know.
Can good virtuous people only research and be curious about certain things? All other argument, debate must be shut down and people can't better understand the world?
How is this progressive which I'm sure you consider yourself. If this theory is so wrong I would have thought you would jump at the chance to debate it and set the record straight.
I do appreciate you being more cordial than you have been in the past though.
PS a generalisation about difference in intelligence in terms of race or gender says nothing about individuals, just the group as a whole.

It depends on what you classify intelligence as coming from. There are no genetic differences, but educational opportunities can affect it later in life. A person who dropped out will be lower in intelligence that a person with a MBA, but everyone starts at the same genetic baseline.
