I can't hear you Julian.
Julian's arguments were straight forward and laid out very well, while the opponets rebuttals lacked any real objectivity. It seemed the opponent steered way off topic at times.
If prostitution were to be legalized and regulated by the government. These entities would be subjected to many tests, meet age requirements, and would have to be civilians. The Brothels would be heavenly regulated and would have absolutely no benefit to involve themselves in human trafficking. They would surely not go into a darker corner of our city's. In this case supply and demand would lead to luxury, safer sex, less disiese, and more.Look at prohibition, alcohol was being made properly, and bars - along with all types of other businesses - became more prosperous. THE CIO and drunk driving argument could literally be an example of a slippery slope fallacy. Think of the taxes prostitution could create and be redistributed into our city's, even on sexual awareness and safe sex. One thing this country is about is liberty, yes there's some that would never sell their bodies, but the people that would like to do so, should have that right. Humans can make their own moral decisions to cheat on their wives or rape. I mean their not animals, you said so yourself.
@tc394410 I sense that there is another debater in the family apart from Julian...:-) When will you go for it????
