Interesting debate. It seems very in the spirit of the name of the site QallOut as the pro is calling out someone on their actions and they have taken it here to hash it out.

Not so congenial, but mostly civil. Con @imeratortruth definitely has the edge on taking a logical line here. he addresses the resolution and provides a counterclaim. (that he watched various videos on his site)

Pro, is less disciplined. He's got an axe to grind beyond the resolution which is just a stand-in for "you are wrong" or "you don't understand my argument".

The subject you are arguing is difficult to do without visual aids. This is a frustrating issue to listen to. Pro simply doesn't understand the fundamentals of physics, geometry etc. He has his own language... and his own sense of logic which breaks most of the rules.

If you are going to argue flat earth with people that don't have a science background, it helps to have arguments that are not dependent that kind of knowledge. Not that I think you can persuade this fellow.

I decided to bail on this debate a bit past halfway. Con wins. Good job being pateint. Con, whatever your beliefs, try to work on not making arguments from ridicule and ad hominems.

I thought is was going to be Friday. Anyway, I'm laughing already. This surely will be an historic event. Something you'll be proud to tell your children about.

It's a silly proposition because look underneath and it's already resolved. You have a long list of references.

I'm going to watch it later. (I'll do my best to be objective! :D)

@imperatortruth – I applaud you for the professionalism you displayed during this debate. @brucebanner5280, it seems you pretty much wanted to debate whether the earth was actually flat or not. In keeping with the topic of the debate “Titus Frost Has Done No Research On Flat Earth” it is apparent that Titus Frost has actually done research. I believe the issue that @brucebanner5280 has with @imperatortruth is that he does not feel the research that Titus Frost has conducted is credible. That is an entire different subject all together. Con wins this debate because as I stated earlier it is very apparent that he has in fact conducted research.

I would like to see @imperatortruth and @brucebanner5280 debate on evidence of a flat earth vs. round earth.

How are you able to maintain your composure? The mark of professionalism. This is almost slapstick. I'm definitely going to share this to make other peoples' day. :D

Seriously...the Bible and science are compatible. Thus consider these two: (Isaiah 40:NIV) "He sits enthroned above THE CIRCLE OF THE EARTH..... He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in." and...

(Job 26:7) "He stretches out the north over the empty place, AND HANGS THE EARTH ON NOTHING...

I vote for you...he's only speculating, and has no references to back him up whatsoever. But you gotta give him some credit for his chutzpah.

@melindagaysantos Yeah Run2Christ who has a series of videos on how the Bible debunks the flat Earth hypothesis, which I included in the playlist I referenced at the beginning of this video and is linked above.

@brucebanner5280 Here is the explanation for your crepuscular rays question, this video was in the playlist on my channel I referenced during the debate, please watch: https://youtu.be/wSSldPr0kRg

but on earth, when things go in one direction, they go around in circles.. like a flight going west from Tokyo to Dubai is 10 hrs, a flight going west from Dubai to LA is 15 hrs, then a flight going west from LA to tokyo is 2 hrs...

why do we need angles and degrees, it's just a one-direction motion of objects going in circles...

what am i missing here? @brucebanner5280

@yaz I am not sure about your question I can tell you that on a flat earth map you still taverse the world in a circle just google an image but what I can also tell you is that no one has ever circumnavigated our planet from north to south - because you can't

What is up with the weird audio overdubbing of Titus in the last 10-15 minutes, where it is clear that he has won the debate. The Pro uses sophistry and logical fallacies, he never pauses to let Titus answer his question he interrupts him with another - and then accuses Titus of doing exactly that. These are the typical tactics we see from paid trolls, and to me is further evidence that Flat Earth is a psyop.

I am pleased that somebody brought up the flight times, which I have yet to hear any Flat Earther offer an explanation for. However Titus only highlighted one aspect of it, how it disproved the FE / UN map. As someone who has flown frequently from New Zealand and Australia to the US and back, as well as thousands of hours over the rest of the planet in all kinds of aircraft, I can assure you that it takes longer to fly East to West than it does West to East. The scientific reason is complex but the fact remains that airplane travel times are affected by the earth's rotation.

It is clear that Titus did research on the theories of the Flat Earth, and effectively debunked them. The Pro side was not able to prove that Titus had done no research, and resorted to ad hominem attacks like "you are disparaging Native American culture" - typical Social Justice Warrior virtue signalling, instead of presenting a case rationally, calmly, with logic and reason.

@steveo 100% agreed, how can anyone vote otherwise? I should have won this debate with 100% of the votes, but the FE psyop continues to keep people blind to facts.
