@debateme13 Enjoyed the discussion. A convo like this tends to fishbone into several other topics. Some spinoffs I'd be interested in: untelligent design, "genocide" in the Old Testament, believing in God by knowledge vs faith.

@swordwords yeah great talking with ya man! The Old Testament one is definitely one I've been meaning to have. We'll have to do that one some time.

I can explain the existence of evil/suffering in the context of a Good God. Hell/Satan I think are metaphorical and intellectually indefensible.

@bronsonkaahui yeah same. I think the existence of evil is an understandable thing that a loving creator could have logically created, but there's no defense for the creation of Lucifer if he straight up knew exactly what Lucifer would do and how Lucifer would act and what Lucifer would do to his creation.

@debateme13 you ever listen to Jordan Peterson's "theology"/philosophy? Very interesting. I would almost describe him as a Christian atheist as bizarre as that sounds.

@bronsonkaahui he's probably pretty similar to me then. I don't discount the idea that there probably is a creator. I just discount who all the religious people think that creator is.

I'll look that up it sounds interesting.
