@benmouse42 Congrats for advancing to the Semi-Finals!@chriscowherd Great job at the Championship, thanks a lot for participating!
@gigi hey would you mind rechecking the popular vote total for me? According to Yaz the voting lasts for 24 hours and at that time I checked and I either won or tied the popular vote, which would require at least one more judge to decide the round
@chriscowherd It is 24hours from the completion of the debate to my understanding.
@yaz will you double check the popular vote winner for me?
@chriscowherd Apologies Chris, I posted a response yesterday but it seems that it never came through. So, according to our database this debate started at 18:02:23 on 8th Feb and ended at 18:32:26 same day. The votes count closes 24 hours upon the completion of the debate hence at 18:32:26 on 9th Feb. At that point we had, PRO had 12 votes and CON had 18 votes. Let me know and i can also send you the excel file with all the votes and timestamps.
I'm absolutely biased towards Ben's position but I'll listen anyway.

Additional stuff on congress ratifying Iran's compliance, there are plenty like this but here is an example:http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/11/07/us-congress-working-comply-iran-nuclear-deal-top-eu-diplomat/
Aff misjudged his burden in the debate and was unable to show why sanctions would be at all effective if the US pulled out of the deal. Therefore, Neg won by showing that the deal was at least somewhat effective and more so than any alternative that could be provided.

I have mild dyslexia and rearranged the order of those letters in my head. @chriscowherd No worries dude, I dont think it really meaningfully effects the debate (maybe it activates my think tank rebuttal a bit).It was a good show, definitely a good Quarter-Final
