Do you mean a God specific to a religion, or a God in the sense that many have argued for rationally in the past?
Both can qualify, whether it be specific to religion or a deistic view of God
@chrismaney3 Sure, so I don't want it to turn into a definition game, but I am talking about God in the sense that Aquinas argued that a god must exist.
@rstanton34 Yea, that's alright, I wouldn't want that either.
@chrismaney3 Ok so then I'd be happy to argue that not only is there evidence, but there is a rational proof for the existence of a God. Again this is not to say it would be this God or that God, as that takes far more unpacking and can't be rationally prove, but *a* God is relatively easy to prove if you accept Aquinas' definition.
@rstanton34 Hey, sorry, had some unexpected errands today. Do you mind if we reschedule?
@chrismaney3 I actually did not even realize it was scheduled today so that works great for me. I have a debate tomorrow at 3 so that wouldn't bee idea, how does Friday look for you? I want to have a bit of time to write down some of the arguments.
@rstanton34 Yea sure, let's go for it. What time?
@chrismaney3 You available around 3-4PM? I don't have work that day, that's when it will be quietest at my house so I'd prefer then, but can do earlier or later.
@rstanton34 Yea, it should be set to 3pm now.
@chrismaney3 Hey man, I got super busy these last few days sorry about that, you still want to do this one this week or something?
@rstanton34 Yea, same happened to me, I have Wednesday at 3 on the schedule
