Just like every nation in the world, Israel has the right to protect itself against terrorists or violence. Of course it wants peace, but not the version of peace that Hamas is calling for. Sometimes it means things get ugly to make that clear, but ultimately, yes, Israel wants PEACE
It does not benefit Israel to avoid peace. Netanyahu is having to spend millions of dollars on war and the defense of his country. He wants to end that as soon as possible, but there is only so much he can concede to. He also has to be smart, so if the peace comes at too high a price to Israel then he must continue fighting.
If Israel truly wanted peace they would stop oppressing an entire country! It would be easy enough for Netanyahu to agree to a two-state solution and end the fighting. Palestine is really not asking for much. If Netanyahu really wanted to put a stop to the fighting, he easily could. Israel's actions are further provocations, not steps towards peace.
Israel is RESPONDING to provocation. There can be no steps towards peace when Palestinians are stabbing and bombing Israel.
Can't wait to see this! Dude's been saying crazy shit about 911 on his YouTube channel i wonder what he'll say about Israel here
Hamas, the de facto leaders of Gaza, have stated that their goal is not a two-state solution but the destruction of Israel. Indeed, this has been the opinion of many of the Palestinian leaders for years now. Israel not only has a right, but a DUTY to defend its land against those who desire its destruction. That includes marching into Palestinian territory and putting a stop to their horrific attacks including, but not limited to, thousands of rockets fired into Israeli territory, mortaring, stabbings, shootings, etc.
YaaaY,,,, I just tilted the results in the disagree section for the win. As of now, 50% disagree (winning) 10% unsure 40% agree.. Great job Ry...!
The truth is simple: Muslim Arabs attacked Jews, Christians and other Muslim Arabs long before there was such a thing as a "Palestinian Arab", which is an invented nationalism specifically made up in 1964 in order to fight the thriving state of Israel. But Israel is thriving still, and the "Palestinians", which were never a sovereign people, still kill Jews, Christians and other Muslim Arabs in the name of Allah.Israel is, was and will continue to be. And since its destruction is the main narrative of Arabs who stuck in the past, I doubt that there could be peace between Israel and the terror groups that lead and operate in Gaza and in the west bank.
