You may want to argue for something here...Diversity has a lot of advantages when you want your company's products to appeal to a diverse market. It is also good for simply having a wide base of knowledge and experience to draw from.It can be challenging because diverse folks may find it harder to reach consensus and agreement, and they may have a harder time understanding one another due to cultural differences.So I think there are both upsides and downsides. Ideally, you encourage diversity in background but try to create a unity in the office culture and in communications.
