What a beautiful way to say it. You are absolutely right. You cannot judge a movement by radical, fringe groups. That is exactly what is happening with Islam. The public is judging the entire religion on a group of terrorists who do not represent what Islam is all about.

Feminism is an all-inclusive movement. We need to fight for our women AND our men in order to truly gain equality.

Couldn't agree more..feminism is about inclusiveness!

I wonder if anyone actually disagrees with the statement above

Feminists hide behind a definition for feminism that they heard in a Beyonce song. Unfortunately, their actions say something completely different. They are entirely female-centric. The wage gap is a myth (if anyone needs proof I would be happy to provide it) and they are only active and loud when it comes to speaking out against sexism against women. What about sexism against men?

Not to mention that while approximately half of rape victims are men (think: prisons), they will only speak out when the victim is a woman. Most people want equality for women. But the majority of self-titled feminists do not act towards this goal. They fight exclusively for women instances of male suppression go unaddressed.

"The wage gap is a myth (if anyone needs proof I would be happy to provide it) "

No you won't, because this is a lie. What you will provide is one of two things; a law from the 1960s that people have found loopholes around for years, or a study from some Right Wing think tank.

          "What about sexism against men?"

You mean like calling men who don't fit a narrow definition of masculine feminized words and.or homophobic slurs? Yeah, that's usually toxic men (and anti-feminist women) who do that. Not feminists.

"Not to mention that while approximately half of rape victims are men (think: prisons), they will only speak out when the victim is a woman. "

Setting aside your skewed numbers, part of the reason for that is when male victims DO speak up, assholes like you call them weak, gay, or if they're a teenage boy who was raped by their teacher act like they should consider themselves lucky.

"But the majority of self-titled feminists do not act towards this goal. They fight exclusively for women instances of male suppression go unaddressed."

Suppression like being more than 85% of movie/TV protagonists, more than 80% of elected office holders in the U.S., getting paid more than women for the same job (and a LOT more than Black women or Latinas), etc.

Only men can be so fragile as to control the majority of the world, and still feel like "the womenz are holding us down!" yeah, grow up shithead. Women are as oppressive towards men as Alderran was oppressive to the Death Star.

        Very well said!
