Considering suicide is illegal, why should this be considered differently?
That brings up the question of whether or not suicide should be illegal. Perhaps it shouldn't be.
I think it should be legal for patients with a fatal disease or illness where the alternative is suffering.
I believe its very barbaric to allow doctors to kill off their patients even if the patients consent to it. It seems very uncivilized for us to allow assisted death to happen
I think assisted death should be legal for those who have a terminal illness. If their life is coming to an end anyway, we should allow them to make the decision whether to end it early or later. If you were in a situation where you are in high amounts of pain and don't want to suffer anymore, then it should be your decision to end your suffering.
I feel it should be up to the state/local governments to vote on what they feel is best rather than a national law.
